Foot twitching: Please find out what is going on by seeing your doc.  If he/she rules out medical condition consider taking magnesium, which can help muscle twitches.  I see that you have had foot surgery.  Be sure to mention that to doc.  Peace and good health.

Muscle twitching: Your electrolytes should be drawn along with thyroid function tests. An MRI of your lumbar spine should be ordered to evaluate for possible disc disease, along with emg; MRI of your brain may also be warranted.

: ALS typically has muscle weakness, muscle wasting, and twitching. Since the neurologist did not find any serious condition, it is reasonable to consider other causes such as benign fasciculation syndrome (BFS) which is quite common and not associated with any serious neurological condition. Consider a follow up appointment with your neurologist for continued support.

twitching throughout body. however, twitching in left foot when lying down that gets worse when lying on right side. if i lift leg high enough the twitching stops. if i put it back down it starts again. possibly cause?
