Purple skin: Blotches or spots of purple on the skin may occur in cold weather because the blood vessles constrict and the blood in the cold skin stagnates and turns darker in color.

leg got red and formed a rock hard lump underneath then redness disappeared. on my other leg on thigh have a red/purple patch. what's going on?

See MD: You need to be seen to establish what is going on.  I do not understand where on your legs the redness and "rock hard lump " are.  Trauma comes to mind, but you may have some blood vessel issue, as an inflammed vein or blood clot issue.  Please be seen today in a clinic or an ER.

Refluxing veins.: Varicose veins are due to leaking valves(called reflux) most commonly in the saphenous system.  To treat these you must first undergo a venous reflux ultrasound to make the diagnosis and determine the proper treatment.  Medical management would be the use of support hose but this is only masking the problem.  Laser closure of the leaking valves and micro incisions to remove the vv's is the ideal.

Coach class syndrome: I'd be worried about DVT (deep vein thrombosis) after prolonged sitting...See your doctor or go to local er asap for an exam and possibly ultrasound.

Plantares : Plantares tendon rupture. Back off training, heat and nsaidsand slow return as tol to full activity. To be sure see an ortho.

I doubt  it is circu: I doubt  it is circualtion. It can be  myofascial pain whcih is  helped  by exercise. You can dicuss this  with your  physician. This coudl be  part  of fibromyalgia.

Skin rash: There are multiple possibilities here. If they aren't itching a lot and are merely unsightly, check to see if they are often where a hair is trying to come out of the skin. Bumps like these are called keratosis pilaris (kp). If so, this can be treated with products that help the skin shed and stay moisturized. Talk to your doc about salex and retin a (tretinoin).
