Doesn't sound good: A doctor can evaluate if a person's bug bite has gotten bigger and harder, especially if it got more red and more tender, and especially if she developed a fever without another reason for her fever. If the bite is infected, antibiotics are usually needed. An in-person exam helps decide whether or not there is pus in the bite wound.

Bite: It could. However, a lesion on the leg that is hot to touch, regardless of the cause, needs to be examined by a doctor. It could be infected and require antibiotic, especially if the lesion is tender and getting larger.

That sounds like a: Possible infection. If one of your legs has become hot, red & swollen you need to have this evaluated.  You could have cellulitis.

Get evaluated: Fever and chills could mean infection.  Leg pain could be from an infection, but also from many other things.  The symptoms may or may not be related.  I would suggest evaluation by your physician as soon as possible.

Fever leg pain: Bring him to his pediatrician to be evaluated. It could just be a viral infection or if bacterial - bone , muscle, skin, arterial and vein infection. One can have leg and joint pains with a strep infection.

Not likely related.: Angina is not manifest as angina. Unless you have severe vascular insufficiency this is most likely related to an ortho problem. This may be related to a hip problem or lower back issue that is referred. See your doc for further advice. How high is the fever?

From description: wonder if you have some form of panic / anxiety when you become upset?  Your body can heat up and you can become flushed when really anxious/ upset. A doctor could help to determine if this is the cause. take care.

Arthritis: "Synovitis" is arthritis. There are many different kinds, no way to even guess the cause or best treatment. Discuss with your doctor; if any uncertainty about the diagnosis or treatment, ask for referral to a rheumatologist (arthritis specialist). Fever and rash: This is the topic of a lengthy lecture for my medical students.  The basic answer is yes.  The rash may well be part of the infection producing the fever.  But in order to begin to determine what infection would require far more information than you have provided.  Hope you get better soon.

Fever & leg swelling: Of course, it is not absolutely certain that the 2 problems are related, but assuming they are, i would be suspicious of the possibility of venous insufficiency in the leg, a clot in the leg, a rarer condition called lymphedema (where the lymph vessels are blocked). These can give risk to a chronic indolent infection which might cause fever. Fever for a year is so unusual that it will need eval.
