Different causes: It's possible that there is a strained intercostal muscle or pinched nerve in the rib cage. A cracked rib may be present-is there a history of a rib cage injury? Cold or hot applications and if you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen may help. See your Physician if symptoms persist.

i fell and landed on my lower left side and my 7 n 8 rib is cracked, lower back bruised, n still feel the pain straight thru, its 4 weeks now n i get sharp pains when i cough or sneeze, behind my left breast? i'm worried thank you?

: Pain is likely still due to the fractured ribs, i.e. rib cage pain, it is not over yet. The worst case, splinting reflex from thorax pain may cause atelectasis of the lung which leads to pneumonia; in that case fever will occur besides the pleuritic chest pain. However, I doubt this latter scenario.

Musculoskeletal pain: Usually associated with pulled muscle or more rarely a rib fracture can hurt with cough, sneeze or deep breathing. Consult physician: If localized to anterior ribs usually costochondritis. Occurs on left side of breastbone, affects more than one rib,
worsens with deep breaths or coughing. Resolves on its own, although in some cases may last for several months or longer. Treatment focuses on pain relief perhaps with nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs.Can be related to injury, viral infection, strain, arthritis, rarely tumor.

Variety of thots.: It is not possible to be precise.  This could be due to trauma or exercise, causing strain or sprain to intercostal muscles.  Cannot exclude bowel, splenic, kidney issues, but could also involve diaphragmatic or lung referred pain.  See you doctor, get examined, and obtain testing as advised.

Possible rib break: It could be a rib fracture , or a costochondral injury on the rib or a muscle or ligament pull off of the rib. 

Heat asnreduced activity for a few weeks should see it easing. 

If the pain gets worse , an xray is needed.

Musculoskeletal: Most likely the pain is attributable to muscle aches  or tendonitis from excessive coughing. If the cause of the cough has not been determined, please see your PCP.
Provide local heat and use Motrin to control pain, until your PCP provides you with additional management.

Depends: chest pain has many causes and many implications. Some are minor and some can be life threatening. More information a complete history and physical is recommended by your doctor  in person if you indeed have these symptoms. If severe pain going to an emergency room is suggested. Good luck
