friend did coke week ago..  now has rash/hives on her and yesterda her left side of face tongue are numb and tingly .. could this be for it or no?

Not good: She needs an evaluation.  Cocaine can cause strokes leading to numbness among other things.  She needs to stop this habit and see a doctor.

especially eye & inside mouth.   am scheduled to have a nerve block nxt week but wondering if that is a good idea since i am already numb won't that procedure make me more numb?

Anxiety: Anxiety and panic disorders can cause numbness in the face. A normal MRI of the brain excludes a variety causes including a tumor, sinusitis, multiple sclerosis, or other intracranial structural lesion. However, should the symptoms worsen then a neurologist should evaluate you. An MRI of the cervical spine and a lumbar puncture may be included in further studies to determine the cause.

Tic Doulourex: Tic douloureux or trigeminal neuralgia is a severe, stabbing pain to one side of the face. It stems from one or more branches of the cranial nerve V that supplies sensation to the face, the trigeminal nerve. The pain usually lasts from a few seconds to a few minutes. It may be so intense that you wince involuntarily, hence the term tic. There is usually no pain or numbness between attacks.
