It can: This can occur. If you have a hiatal hernia that is causing irritation after you eat, you can have referred pain in your left shoulder or axilla (armpit) area. You may need an upper GI series or endoscopy to make sure you are not having any other issues such as progressing barretts esophagus or any other issues. Hope this helps!

Not Likely: Consider a muscle strain in the area of the effected shoulder.  Also consider some condition in the lung such as pleurisy.  Do you have any sign of an infection or have you strained your muscles recently.  Also, consider reflux espophagitis.  Do you get a sour taste in the mouth?  Consider cardiac pain.  How is your heart?

Muscular?: If you haven't had a fall or acute injury, I'd think
that it is muscular etiology.
I'd curtail any strenuous activities and use ice and nsaid
med.
If symptoms persist I'd see your ortho for further eval.

Shoulderblade prob: Shoulder pain can be from many different problems.  The main one in back of is shoulder blade irritation or inflammation
you could try Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen over the counter for a few days.

Shoulder pain: Thiose symptoms sound as muscle pain probably muscle spasms, but you should have a dostor check it to be sure.

Call your MD: Difficulty breathing while lying down can be a symptom of a few different medical conditions, some much more dangerous than others. Please call your doctor asap to get an appointment and get evaluated. Ideally, call today, before the thanksgiving holiday.

Get it checked out: If it is not movement related but does get worse with respiration then it is likely coming from your lung.  The causes can be pleuritis, pneumonia, a blood clot, etc, so best to have it looked at.

Anything: it could be anything from the way you sleep to the way you use your arms every day,
exercise and concentrate on the shoulder muscles.
apply heat.
take ibuprofen.
no better,see your local doctor.
