Costochondritis: Although ibuprofen is a good treatment for costochondritis but if you don't quite agree with it then discuss it with another physician for second opinion. It is important to see the swellings.

Skin lumps are commo: It could be a fatty tumor (lipoma)which are very common. Most such lumps are benign ..But others can be malignant . It all depends on the size and texture. If it is increasing in size over a period of one or two month, you should seek medical attention and get yourself checked.

Breast lump: Anytime there is a new lump that you have concerns about, you need to be  seen by a doctor.  It may be your rib but it needs to be properly examined and possibly imaged to be certain. Please call your doctor.
