Inside mouth?: I assume it is inside your mouth. The oral mucosa heals very rapidly. Always the chance of infection. If it on the outlside of your cheek, see MD. If inside, give it a  couple of days, if not resolving, see oral surgeon. Salt water rinses and OTC pain meds for now.

Start with a dentist to determine the cause of the swelling. If they can't link it to a dental issue you may well be referred to physician for further evaluation.
