Sex: Yes. Sex is much more about our brains, our fatigue, our anxiety, our sexual desires and who we are and are not attracted to.  This can be overcome but you may need to take some time to figure it all out.

: You have been infected with HSV-1 so the virus is latent in your body which occasionally causes cold sore. HSV-1 also causes genital herpes. It does not matter what way of your contact, you have been infected with HSV-1 and if you have never had HSV-1 related genital herpes then you likely won't have it after this sexual scenario.

The doctor can look for lesions, signs of infection, test the nerves and help determine the cause. They can also test the vaginal fluid to see what is causing the odor.

Yes: The space between the vaginal opening and the rectum varies but they can be quite close.  With intercourse there is enough transmitted motion to the anus that a nearby hemorrhoid (varicose vein of the rectum) could be irritated and cause pain.  Using a good lubricant might help but getting the hemorrhoid taken care of would be better.

Need lubrication: You may have an abrasion, essentially a friction burn. Be sure you are well lubricated, either from foreplay or a water-soluble lubricant (e.g., KY jelly). Also, be sure your partner is gentle enough not to harm your fragile genital tissues. Finally, if you are sore "down there, " you might refrain from activity until you are fully healed.
