Many cancers can raise LDH levels, so LDH may be used as a tumor marker, but at the same time, it is not useful in identifying a specific kind of cancer. Measuring LDH levels can be helpful in monitoring treatment for cancer. Any symptoms?: Why was the test done? All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it might have helped to know the actual numbers. If you do not have symptoms, do not worry about the numbers.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

yes: This is a very severe elevation and places you at a much higher risk of premature heart attack, stroke, and death. Get it treated! try to follow a plant based diet as much as possible. The ultimate is a fully vegetarian diet but just eating meat less often will help if you can't handle the full v diet.

Low ldh: Low LDH levels are generally insignificant except in rare genetically determined cases where muscle fatigue can occur because of faulty breakdown of sugar in muscle cells. High LDH levels are important and can be due to heart failure, certain anemias,liver,kidney or muscle disorders. You should have no worries if you have none of these conditions.

why does lymphoma cause ldh to increase?

Cell turn over: Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is an enzyme that is in all our cells. Rapid cell turnover (a combination of proliferation and death) within lymphomas makes the LDH levels rise in the serum. LDH may also rise briefly after effective therapy, as the tumor cells lyse and release LDH.  It should then fall as the number of tumor cells goes down.
