That depends: You are very young and should not have such symptoms, unless your injury was severe and long standing. Speak to your doc about it.

You would be able to start bearing weight when you’re able to protect yourself from being injured and not before hand. Do not rush it. It’s all about getting range of motion and strength back to the extremity

May not be: Deltoid pain at all. Could be a tear in one of the rotator cuff muscles, like supraspinatus or bicep tendonitis. Don't guess, see your doctor for a physical exam to get appropriate treatment or physical therapy.

Dominant side?: If this is on your dominant side then it sounds like you just have an overuse issue. Rest for a few days and it should get better.
