It means a...: A trip to the doctor would be wise. Many women have occasional variation of their mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier or lighter period, a longer or shorter one, or even a missed period. Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical issue, but a week of "heavy bleeding" twice a month is a blood loss problem that should be evaluated.

Ovarian cyst: hemorrhagic cyst is functional physiologic cyst for ovulation that bled inside. your body should absorb the blood in 6-8 weeks. observaton and repeat ultrasound in 8 weeks should suffice. weight reduction is always a general health benefit.

Placental bleed: It's hard to explain without being too technical but, basically, PGH is bleeding that occurs inside the amniotic sac due to leak or rupture of a placental blood vessel.  It can result from external trauma, but usually is spontaneous.   The presence of PGH puts your pregnancy at high risk.  I assume your OB plans to closely monitor you &amp; your unborn child and I wish you the best in that regard.

All increase risk: Subchorionic hemorrhages are very common and most resolve on their own without causing any problems. Obviously the smaller sizes one to 2 cm are less  concerning  than a larger. Size alone cannot predict which one will lead to problems like miscarriage and which ones will resolve.

had taken progestrone 10mg for 14days ( from 27.04.13 to 09.05.13). now having heavy bleeding with big clots since 18.05.13night. what to do?

See a doctor: It is ok to bleed after progesteron treatment.Yet if bleeding is severe( u get a pad filled with blood in 30 minutes or less) go see a doctor asap.

This seems excessive: Likely to be related to irregular ovulation. This can be confirmed by testing, and treated, with your doctor's help.

Hemorrhagic Cysts: Recurrent, painful ovulation resulting in "bloody" cysts may result from taking medication such as blood thinners or from coagulation disorders such as von willenbrand's disease . Endometriosis in the ovaries is often confused with "hemorrhagic cysts". A thorough evaluation is warranted in this situation.

Some benefit from birth control pills, patch or nuvaring. Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can stop your period in some cases. Consider an endometrial ablation such as genesys hta if you are done having children. These can be done in the safely and comfortably in the office.
