Reason?: I am unsure the reason why you want to take NyQuil. It might be helpful to just take pseudoephedrine as a decongestant if you have a cold as some of the other meds may make you really sleepy with your current meds. Calling your local pharmacist may be a good idea for tonight then ask your doctor in the morning.

Recommend against: Expiration dates are used for reasons. I cannot predict it would cause harm or that it would not work, but the risk outweighs the benefit.  I would get non-expired nyquil.

Lamotrigine: Valuable medication to treat epilepsy, especially complex partial seizures, and first choice for epileptologists.  Has few side effects, but has risk of early rash which could be life-threatening (stevens-johnson synd).  Has proven of some value in psychiatry (bipolar, etc).  Often used adjunctively, but can be mono-therapy.

Varied: Life threatening: certain rashes (stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), neutropenia (low white cells), multiple organ failure, hepatic failure, suicide, sudden death. Less severe: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, somnolence, visual change, headache, sore throat, runny nose, diarrhea, fever, fatigue - many others. You should be under close supervision by the prescriber.

Not if dosed right: If taken as prescribed, it will not hurt your liver. If taken improperly (too much, for example) if definitely could. Nyquil contains Acetaminophen (tylenol) which can cause liver damage and even liver failure if overdosed.
