Unlikely : Lactase added to milk only breaks down lactose into its components glucose and galactose. The sugar is still there but pre-digested in a sense.

With minor: Differences, your body can easily metabolize any sugar. Glucose, fructose and galactose are all simple sugars or monosaccharides. Sucrose, maltose and lactose are all compound sugars or disaccharides. Sucrose is  formed as a combination of a molecule of glucose and one of fructose, and they are broken apart by enzymes. All are equal to 4 calories / gram.

There is no lactose: There is no lactose in whey.Lactose is the sugar you get from milk and milk products only
you can be allergic to whey, check it with your doctor if you have problems when you consume whey.

Discuss with your: physician or nutritionist. Foods to help w healthy weight gain: almonds, cashews, pecans, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, walnuts, hummus, Avocados, granola, trail mix, dried fruits, extra virgin olive oil, canola oil &amp; Smoothies (w added silken tofu ).

after eating dairy my poop is green, and if i consume sugars like candy or chocolate i have a clear seepage. could it be lactose intollerance?

Talk to doctor: You might try avoiding dairy completely to see if that helps.  If your stool issues improve, then you are likely intolerant if dairy.  Sugar is not good for any of us, so avoiding that is a good idea.

Seepage: Anal seepage can be caused by chronically loose stools, loosening of anal sphincter tone,or rectal prolapse. A proctologist could examine you and determine whether there is prolapse or weak anal sphincter tone and then recommend treatment options.

Many baked products use milk as an ingredient, so these too have lactose in addition many medicines contain lactose as well used as a "filler".  Read labels looking for milk as an ingredient.

Not much: Some source say about 10% of the lactose content of whole milk. Some say just a trace. Either way many lactose intolerant persons may tolerate a little butter in their diet. You can experiment with your own degree of tolerance.
