See your doctor: While adequate sleep is very important, with nothing else to go on, i would be reluctant to attribute your chest pain to that.  There can be many serious thins causing chest pain, so it would be important for you to be seen by  your physician.  Good luck.

Yes: And many other reasons like stress, poor posture at work or school and caffeine withdrawal. If this lasts and becomes an issue see a pain physician for a good history and physical exam.

i haven't been sleeping well recently and i feel slight chest pain however my cardiologist says there's nothing wrong. is it lack of sleep?

Likely reflux @ 18: The stomach entrance is located just behind your heart. Things like caffeine &amp; nicotine prevent adequate closure of this fold in the tube allowing irritation/pain from backwash of acid stomach contents. Laying down after meals also creates pressure that aggravates this. Changing your habits &amp; using an antacid may help. It can also interfere with sleep.

Symptoms: Although these symptoms could occur while experiencing grief, one would also want to rule out medical causes. If you are having difficulty breathing than Emergency Room assessment is warranted. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.

Sleep and pain: There is no direct correlation with lack of sleep and chest pain but fatigue sleep deprival can cause mood disturbance anxiety that can have a symptom of chest discomfort make sure there is no other medical reasons for chest  pain please get a checkup.

Sounds like you're: dealing with a newborn and maybe have some physical sx's that an MD should evaluate.   Also sounds like you're getting run down.   Any help with baby duties?   What happens when you have some down time? Or, is that out of the question?   Do you have a partner?   Can you express milk and have the partner administer and you rest?   How's your nutrition?   Too many ?'s.   See the MD first.

Regular medications: Cold symptoms respond to allergy medicine and cough medication will help.She can continue her current meds as prescribed.

Achy from poor sleep: Without a question it can.  Other things can as well including colds or flu.  Your "pinched nerve" needs to be better evaluated.  I would see an orthopedic surgeon.

Obstructive Sleep: Apnea is a condition of cessation of breathing during sleep that lasts for 10 seconds or longer. OSA should first be confirmed with the proper medical sleep studies. Regardless, the cause, could be only muscle pain or anxiety. However, pain in your chest with the symptoms you have described is a serious medical condition. It is always a red flag and appointment with your PCP or cardiologist.
