i have a sinus infection, how dangerous is it to put triple antibiotic ointment into my sinuses?

Not recommended: Triple antibiotic ointment into your sinuses could cause more inflammation if you develop a contact dermatitis. It is better to rinse your sinuses with normal saline solution or hypertonic solution sinus rinse. Hope this helps.

Danger: Most of the common staph infections out there that are causing the epidemic are resistant to the medications in the triple antibiotic ointments and often get much worse when one uses these ineffective over the counter medications on their skin.

how likely is it for my daughters hair to grow back after an infection from a ring worm she has been through almost 6 rounds of antibiotics and i have but triple antibiotic ointment on the infected spot nothin seems to make it go away or make the hair gro

Very : Very likely! if you have seen your doctor and have gotten rid of the fungal infection, you should see hair growth begin. Keep in mind, the hair has to start from the root, so it can take several weeks after the infection is gone to begin to see small sprouting hairs. Just give it a little time.

Doubtful: Please see a gastroenterologist. This could be a rectal or anal fissure or something else entirely, get a correct diagnosis and proper treatment. As you know it is a very sensitive area, save yourself unnecessary pain and have it treated professionally. Hope all turns out well for you.

Does't matter: Use it or dont use it does't matter if you have no infection. Clean cases do not need any local antibiotics, if it is infected it is deep to skin will not be effective, only way to cure it is to drain it.

You can: I think it's more that if it hasn't healed yet, then you should double check with doc to check on the particular wound.

You shouldn't: I wouldn't recommend putting any ointment in your nose unless directed by a doctor.  Ointments can block pores, which can lead to nasal abscesses.
