Numbers: Iron (not to be confused with hemoglobin) is the amount of the element in blood bound to plasma proteins. It's helps estimate how much iron is available to make more red cells. Mch and MCHC are mean corpuscular (red cell) hemoglobin and hemoglobin concentration; how well-hemoglobinized the red cells are (tends to be low in iron deficiency and some other illnesses.) iron deficiency's common & cruel.

Iron Deficieny: Sure looks like you have Iron deficiency. Do you get heavy periods ?  You have almost no storage iron or make red blood cells and this is what the  low  ferritin about.  Take 1 iron pill a day at the least.

i had blood lab work done. my mch was high, rdw low, and mpv low, creat low. i have been fatigued etc. is there any follow up tests i should ask for?

Fatigue: There are other things to be check for fatigue including thyroid cortisol and your testosterone level. If your fatigue is persisting and sever these are the things that should be checked.

Maybe Gilbert's?: It is a familial (autosomal dominant), common (2-5% of people), unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia (blood bilirubin measures 1-5mg/dl), not due to breakdown of blood. It is associated with reduced enzyme levels of udp glycuronyl transferase, that results in jaundice when patients fast or suffer an infection. It does not shorten life or raise insurance rates, but may predispose to tylenol (acetaminophen) toxicity.

: No need for concern- all lab results have a range of normal but there are by definition always people whose values fall slightly above or below normal. Your results look very good. If you have any symptoms that concern you please discuss them with your Dr.  We treat the patient not the numbers

Depends: It depends upon how abnormal the counts are.   Laboratory normals are set at the laboratory level and do not indicate normal for everyone. Values slightly outside the range may be completely normal for you and not for another person. This is where your doctor uses their experience and personal  knowledge of your case.
