Alzheimer : Alzheimer disease is a gradual onset, gradually progressing condition.  It does not appear within 1 month.  Rapid onset suggests other conditions, which can be grouped under the categories of delirium or encephalopathy, and can have causes including stroke, infection, and intoxication.  Before medicines can be prescribed, a cause should be diagnosed.  Problems like this need to be evaluated by a physician.  An internal medicine or family practice doctor is a good start.
