Doesn't sound right: I don't normally like to second-guess a prescribing doctor and usually do my best to think of all scenarios. But if you were prescribed Demerol and codeine for pain as an outpatient right off the bat, you're going to want a second opinion from another doc. Demerol is rarely used for pain anymore, and there's a risk it'll interact with you Geodon, (ziprasidone) not to mention the codeine itself. Good you asked!

You should avoid/ limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Also avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving.

Space them out : The codeine and zopiclone are both central nervous system depressants and you need to use caution when taking together. The doses are probably safe together, but as a general rule sedating meds should be spaced out 2-4 hours from each other to prevent respiratory depression and significant side effects.
