Trauma: If there is no redness or visual disturbance you could continue cold compresses for another 24 hours and then switch to warm compresses. See your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.

: You might have irritated the eye somehow during blowing of your nose causing tears and redness. It should subside in a day or two. Pl do not blow your nose hard or rub the eye. If not better pl see your MD or an ophthalmolgist.

Corneal abrasion: There should be eye pain and tearing on the eye you suspect was scratched. Redness on that eye can also accompany the corneal abrasion. It is best to have your eye checked because untreated corneal abrasion can cause blindness.

: It is hard to eat a pastry with a hard 33mm size object in it without biting into it.  are you sure of the size? for 33mm is a large size to fit on most rings. If you still think he swallowed it observe the stool to see if he passed it. But definitely take him to your MD who might get an X-ray  to be sure
