9-13 cm: With an ultrasound evaluation, the normal kidney size is 9-13 cm.  One kidney may be up to 1.5 CM difference in size from the other and still be in acceptable range.  Kidney sizes in females may be some smaller than in males but evenso a kidney smaller than 9 CM is abnormally small.  Also a kidney larger than 13 CM is generally considered abnormal.

Kidney issue: What's your kidney function? If decreased, you will need to see nephrologist or urologist. The stones are not huge and if silent are ok to leave alone if there is only one in each kidney. Not sure why your kidneys have shrunk, though. That's why you need specialist's opinion.

Recovery?: You best resource for the answer to your question is the nephrologist (n) taking care of you. The questions to ask your n are: do you have acute renal failure? Does your n expect your kidney function to return? If you had acute renal failure, due to drugs that affected the kidney or due to low bp, recovery may be possible. Your n can and should give more information about your prognosis. Good luck.

Yes: The measurements on ultrasound vary quite a lot. The technology is not reproducable for data like size to the sub centimeter level. It is close enough however, and your data sounds pretty normal.

It is most: likely OK and related to technical variations between the scans, but talk to your doc to make sure.

Creatinine of 17?: Are you sure that your aunt's creatinine (c) is 17, not 1.7? If her c is 17, she should be on dialysis. A biopsy would not be done in someone that high a c. If the c is 1.7, it seems that she had a glomerulonephritis, the cause of which needs to be determined for a diagnosis and prognosis.  The best way to get more information about your aunt is to call the doctor who ordered the renal biopsy.

Drink fluids. : A 3mm stone should likely not be problematic and would be expected to pass without difficulty. Stay well-hydrated to help the stone along its way.  If you develop severe pain on that side, fevers, nausea, vomiting, or if you see blood in your urine, seek medical help. If you've experienced several kidney stones in the past, a formal work up by a nephrologist might be useful.

but with normal kidney size of 90x45mm. hope this is not a serious problem.

Needs antibiotics: Pyelonephritis is an infection of the kidney.  It should not be associated with any long term problems as long as the infection is treated with the appropriate antibiotic for a longer period of time (likely 3 weeks).  However, important to understand why infection began in first place.  Would see a urologist to define if any anatomic issues (kidneys stones, blockage, not emptying bladder)
