: If you are worried than you have to take him to a pediatric neurologist. It is not from any of the things you mention. It could be just a one time thing which cant be explained so observation is another option. Hope your child gets well

Baker's cyst: Baker's or popliteal cysts are pockets of fluid behind the knees (inside the body) which can create discomfort or a sensation of fullness.  It would be uncommon to have cysts in both knees, but anything it possible. Knee pain can also be caused from structural problems in the back, hips or ankles/feet. An orthopedist can help you sort this out!

See details: It is probably just a virus (flu or flu-like illness). Fluids and tylenol (acetaminophen) can help (do not give asa). Have a doctor see her if you are concerned. Btw, how old is the daughter? Young children should be seen by a doctor as a precaution.

Leg pain: 50 year old women with leg pain can have a number of causes. Check with vascular dr. See if there's peripheral vascular disease. Check with neurologist if there's sciatica or a pinched nerve in the back. Check with podiatrist if there are ankle or heel issues affecting your legs as you walk or run. Check with the orthopedic surgeon see if there are any shin splints, knee or hip issues.

Could: Be hip pain referred towards your knees.  Do you have arthritis in the hips or any peripheral vascular disease that could be exacerbated by crossing your legs.  There are a lot of questions i would like to ask before actually examining you which makes me encourage you to see your doctor if the pain is significant.
