Yes: Changing up the workout routine is good for stimulating different muscles and muscle fibers within muscles.  Make sure to allow for a time period of rest to allow the muscles to repair themselves.

: A small dilute amount should be tolerated. Watch though for poor feeding, lethargy and vomiting. Your note did not specify your son's age. If he is less than 2 months old, please see your Pediatrician.

Rest: Give the area time to heal. Stressing damaged muscles will make things worse.

i work out with kettle bells and am thinking of taking nitric oxide to improve my strength gains. is it safe to do so given my age?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Nitric oxide may increase endurance and possibly extend the 'pump' after a work out. The supplement is actually arginine which is an Amino Acid important to include in the diet.  It is found in a well rounded diet but supplements have been found to give some athletic performance enhancement.  When taken in the recommended dosage it poses little risk but the cost may not justify the use.

i accidentally gave my son vinegar water in his bottles today. i was descaling our kettle and stepped away forgot to rinse it and started using it as his bottle water. i feel so dumb. will this harm him in anyway?

: Mixed in water, vinegar isn't harmful. Vinegar is a mild acid -- a lot less acidic than your son's natural stomach acid. Do be careful with other household cleaners and other products in the future; some could be quite dangerous. But no harm this time.

i'm just not as skinny as i want to be. i also do crunches and kettle bell squats, should i increase this, would that help?

Remember: While resistance training is helpful in the weight loss/toning battle, the key to getting as "skinny" as you'd like, is more likely a dietary issue.  You can do all the crunches you can and it isn't likely going to "make you thinner" as while this strengthens the abdominal muscles it won't necessarily affect the fat layer covering them.
