Shouldn't: The red, swelling and heat of a contact dermatitis should resolve without residual skin changes. Using the same substance again will result in the same or worse reaction and should be avoided.

No: I would strongly suggest that cortisone not be injected into a replaced knee. The metal and plastic components are unable to clear bacteria from the knee and the post-injection infection risk is much higher in these circumstances.

At the time of a heart attack or suspected heart attack it is strongly recommended that both men and women swallow  two full crushed aspirins which can help dissolve blood clots in the coronary arteries.
