Possible, unlikely: Although it is possible to become pregnant after a tubal ligation, it would be unlikely. Best to check with your doctor and then determine what else might be causing you to be late.

Yes: You might have been spotting rather than having a normal period. A pregnancy test is pretty simple so you might want to get one done.

That is possible.: Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems. #1 reason is pregnancy.

i got my tubes removed 3 or 4 years ago and i got my period a week late.. at first it was spotting and then i got my period for 4 days when usually its 5 or 6.. ive been throwing up and very tired and not feeling like my normal self.. could i be pregnant?

No : If you do not have fallopian tubes and it's next to impossible to be pregnant. Of course if you're concerned about being pregnant you can always check a home pregnancy test to verify.

Prob not: If you truly had your period after sex and no sex since, then you're not pregnant. Rare but possible to have bleeding from other cause that's mistaken for period but again that's uncommon. If you have any doubt, then go ahead and check a urine preg test.

Yes: While most ovulation occurs days 9-16, you can get pregnant on other days.  It's unlikely, but possible.

Possibly: Any time you have unprotected sex, there is a possibility that you may become pregnant. If you do not have a regular period this month, then you will want to undergo pregnancy testing to determine your status.

Probably not: It may take several months for fertility to return once you stop depoprovera, and irregular, unpredictable periods are usual.  However, don't assume you are not pregnant.  Home pregnancy tests are readily available and sensitive.

Plan B: Plan B is 88% effective but can make your period late.  After 5 days, I wouldn't assume this is the cause.  You can get a home pregnancy test at the drugstore without a prescription.  Its the fastest way to find out for sure if you are (or are not) pregnant.   Best wishes!

Home test: If your period is late, take a home pregnancy test. Plan b can cause your period to be irregular. Speak with your doctor about other birth control options, some of which can also regulate your periods.
