my heart rate skyrockets when i exercise. today i did jumping jacks for only a minute and my rate was at 180. is that really bad? i'm 23 years old

Out of shape: You need to start doing regular exercise- whatever you like--walking, running, swimming, aerobics etc- at least 30 minutes a day. Then you can increase it gradually. The situation like you described is very common to happen when you are out of shape and your body is not well trained/maintained. Don't be discouraged- instead use it as a motivation.

can frequent "jump outs" while sleeping give you a heart complication? pulse rising that fast, or just a scare and anxiety symptoms? :/

Sounds like: Diet. Anxiety symptoms and "jump outs" (? Heart palpitation) may be nothing more than dietary in nature, e.g. Magnesium deficiency. Pleas see my  post on diet.

jumping: Jumping is exercise and if continued long enough will cause heart rate to increase.

Arrhythmia : A tachyarrythmia....Rate of 150bpm makes me suspect atrial flutter if not associated with vigorous exercise.  See a cardiologist for further evaluation.

Palpitations: Palpitations have many causes from anxiety through anatomic and physiologic abnormalities. The feeling of bounding usually relates to the volume of blood pumped with each palpitation. There is no simple single answer for the question. If you're bothered by the feeling should consult a dr. To see if the problem can be clarified.

PACs or PVCs: Premature atrial or ventricular contractions. Usually benign and may be ignored. Anxiety and caffein can be causes. If frequent and symptomatic, should see a cardiologist.

Snoring??: Obstructive sleep apnea has some classic symptoms which would include snoring, sweats during sleep, anxiety with frequent night awakenings (often people feel like they're choking or can't breathe), restless sleep, and daytime somnolence. One doesn't have to be obese to have osa. Especially if you snore, osa may be a worthwhile consideration.  Please discuss with your doctor.

Consider: A visit to a heart doctor. It may be related to your medicine that you take.

Yes: Sounds like Myoclonic or Hypnic jerks.  How often does it occur?  If it is only once in a while then it is probably nothing to be concerned about.  If it is more frequent- more than once a day or if the jerks start coming in rapid succession then you need to see a neurologist for evaluation

Could be simple: Premature beats or arrhythmia ....May need a holter or event monitor to diagnose...Talk to your physician.
