Sputum....: Sputum is what is coughed up from the airways. If the sputum is discolored, like green, yellow, red, etc., it may mean you have acute bronchitis, an infection of the airways. If so, see your doctor so it can be diagnosed and treated. If you smoke, you need to quit to decrease airway inflammation and your doctor can help with this as well.

Mgt.: Some infections may cause similar symptoms, but the sample should be sent for cytology and cultures. 
Please have a TB test and see your PCP.

Mucous: most likely.
BUT worth having evaluation.
Smoker?
Environmental issues? Animals, asbestos, dust mold etc.
If prior pneumonia or lung issues, then bronchiectasis is possible.
There are also some lung inflammations that cause more sputum

ACUTE BRONCHITIS: your symptoms are consistent with acute bronchitis vs PNEUMONIA Seek help asap you need to be examined have labs and CXR checked to rule out pneumonia. You will probably need antibiotics inhalers and cough syrup .  Please get evaluated promptly!

Umm, hard to say.: Skin rashes/lesions are most difficult to diagnose without actually examining them. How long has she had the lesion? Since the area is itching & now raising concern, perhaps it would be wise to have your pediatrician or dermatologist examine this in person. Then specific treatment and preventive measures could be discussed with more accuracy. Itch relief itself can be a blessing & worth the visit!

Easy: DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT STAY ANY PLACE WHERE ANYONE IS SMOKING. Do not allow anyone to smoke in your presence. Try to minimize exposure to smog or polluted air. Anyone selling "detox" is a crook.
