A lot!: There are too many changes to list  here that happen on every level in your body! Some women have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever. Some women become violently nauseated and vomit, have breast tenderness, sharp lower pelvic pain (associated with uterine growth) and may even notice their clothing fitting different. Get the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting". It's a very handy resource!

Yes: Bleeding from implantation, sensitive cervix, and from beneath the placenta are common causes.  Of course, some bleeding is a sign of more ominous things like miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, so a thorough evaluation is indicated, especially for persistent and/or measurable bleeding.

Diet: Most people eating yams actually are eating sweet potatoes.  Yams which are more yellow in color inside, are a source of phytoestrogen like soy beans and soy products are.  If something is part of your diet, it usually is fine as opposed to its you're only dietary item.

Safe, if no alcohol: If it only contains lime, water, and perhaps sugar or some other sweetener then it should be safe.  In fact the citrus juice (from the lime) is very good for you.  However, if it contains any alcohol at all, it is not safe.

No: By definition you cannot have a period when  you are pregnant. You can experience vaginal bleeding during pregnancy and this is not normal. Bleeding during pregnancy should be promptly evaluated by your doctor.
