rash mainly on hands and feet and a few random bumps on legs and arms. look like mosquito bites, itchy. going on for a month. new ones everyday. help!

Hives?: A rash that comes and goes within a day is most likely to be hives,  one of the most miserable and frustrating of benign conditions.  By now you have probably thought of every possible food or other trigger but come up with nothing.  Sometimes a careful history with your doctor can uncover a known cause.  If not then then the long term outlook is good but NO ONE knows HOW long.

Allergy itch: You did right to give him an antihistamine. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) should work well for the type of itching he has. Itchy eyes suggest an allergy to something in the air, but occasionally other causes may trigger eye itching as well. If he played outdoors today, there was probably a lot of pollen around. He's about the age that kids start having seasonal allergies; it takes a few years to get going on those.

Bug bites.: What you are describing could be bug bites of some type due to the nonspecific location. Because of the tropical climate, it could be any number of arthropods. You may want to see a physician for treatment since the number is so high extending over a fairly large body surface area. Additionally, watch for any signs of infection--fevers, night sweats or redness and enlargement of the actual bumps.

: Take a picture of your bumps and then search skin bumps on arms and legs on Google and look at images. See if you can find one that looks like what you have. Write it(them) down and bring to your Dr. Suspect allergy of some kind unless you are exposed to ticks.

Itchy rash eval: A new onset itchy rash can be due to many things.  If simple changes to your personal care products and environment don't help you should see an allergist of dermatologist.  The rash could represent benign urticaria or hives or could be due to an allergic contact dermatitis or drug reaction.  Check with your primary care doctor about any medications and supplements you may be taking.

Many possiblilities: I wish I could provide an easy answer but this requires a more detailed evaluation.  Scabies is one possibility and depending on where you live I wonder if it could be poison ivy/oak/sumac.
