May be a parasite: An infestation called scabies can cause intense itching and small bites, or lines to appear. Usually starts in hands, feet, and can spread.

Sounds like eczema: Sounds like you may have some eczema, although this isn't the most common place for it.  It would be best to let a doctor look at these rashes -- start with your primary care doctor, and if need be, see a dermatologist.  Good luck to you.

It can be due to localized reaction with allergy causing substances, dry skin and eczema or it can be due to systemic illness such as liver disease. There are many causes to itching and further investigation with laboratory studies and examination by your doctor are in order.

Dermatitis: rashes need to be seen and examined to be sure to get the right diagnosis and treatment.  Rashes under in the cleavage of the breasts are often fungal (or yeast like) in nature, but as stated, need to get eval.  Good luck.

i have been having itchy skin colored small bumps going away and coming back behind both knees and on my butt cheeks for the last week. there might be 1 or 2 on my abdomen as well but they go away pretty fast there. my boyfriend has not had them?

: It could be Eczema. I would advise you to avoid itching and leave the area of itching alone for a while.
It is nothing serious. If the rash gets worse, you should get an examination by your family doctor. He/she may advise you to use a local application of anti-itching medicine some of which are available over the counter.

It may get better!: Very itchy and dry skin is part of eczema presentation. If the rashes are present, especially in area of irritation and scratching a rash like scar can appear. After intense treatment by a physician, the rash can go away.

Yes: See a doctor immediately as you may have renal failure and itching is very common amongst those patients.  After seeing your doctor and getting blood work they will know how dehydrated you are and what condition your kidneys are in.  Please take this seriously.

Multiple Causes: There are many reasons for kids to get itchy skin.  Most common is simply dry skin which can be worsened by cold weather and dehydration.  Another cause is contact dermatitis, an allergy to things like poison ivy. If there is a rash and nasal congestion whole body allergies might be suspected.  This could be from a reaction to foods and molds.Begin by using a moisturizer regularly.  Can help a lot.
