Rash: A rash is best diagnosed and treated when it is visualized by a doctor, who can then make an appropriate recommendation. If the itch is driving you crazy, try topical Hydrocortisone cream, an oral antihistamine to calm down itch, and cool showers or baths until you can see the doctor as soon as possible.

Itchy Rash: Red, raised and very itchy like mosquito bites could be hives. Start small and then coalesce to larger patches. Topical anti itch creams can be applied plus oral non-sedating antihistamines.

Derm eval.: These lesions need to be visualized &amp; a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis.  Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.

Itchy rash: This itchy rash may be an allergic reaction to something external like clothing,detergents,cosmetics or something internal like medications,foods. I assume insect bites or poison ivy,etc are not the cause. Try taking an antihistamine by mouth and apply corticosteroid ointment. If no improvement or more involvement, see your physician for evaluation and advice.

had a coronary angiography 6 days ago. itchy rash right upper abdomen still present. should i be concerned?

Probably not.: It is probably a delayed reaction to the cleansing solutions used to clean the groin and surrounding area (abdomen)  before the procedure. Wash the affected area with gentle soap and water. Use Benedryl OTC if the itching is severe. This will probably resolve in a few more days.

See your doctor: various infectious, allergic, and other inflammatory conditions may cause this including food or contact allergies, viral infections, medications etc and would need more extensive review. happy to consult but otherwise see your doctor soon esp if persistent to identify underlying cause(s) esp if any changes such as new medications, foods, soaps/bath oils, sexual practice, travels, etc

this sysptoms started 2 months postpartum.

Need more informatio: A non itchy rash on one lower leg could be several possibilities, how long ago, is it just a flat rash or bumby, any scales, any oozing, do u have pets, what occupation, what medicines r u on, such info would in directing you better, wish u well.
