Dermatographism: This dermatographism, or skin writing, is akin to having hives and the cause is usually elusive. It may resolve on its own. In the meantime think of anything you recently ate or took that could have triggered this skin reactivity. For relief take an antihistamine like benadryl(causes drowsiness) or claritin(nondrowsy). In my experience, hydroxyzine is most effective(causes drowsiness,need script)

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. However, itching can be a sign of healing skin. If your skin is healing and you do not have fever or weight loss, you may watch and wait.

Hives?: Hives are an allergic type of rash that can be related to a reaction to medications, foods, underlying infections, collagen vascular diseases and even cancer. When all of these causes are ruled out we often attribute them to stress. Treatment usually includes antihistamines and sometimes more aggressive treatments such as Prednisone or a new drug that just got approved for chronic hives - xolair.

Try BENADRYL/SEE MD: For immediate relief from itching you can take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for ithing but you need to consult your dictor or a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment
it may be due to allergy or some other condition like scabies.

Check again: I would thouroughly check your head and hair again for any remaining lice or nits.  Often, many of the treatments need to be repeated one week after initial treatment.  Also, keep in mind that the shampoos used to treat lice can cause some irritation to the scalp which can induce itching and may not represent a residual lice infestation.

i got tested for stuff and i do not have anything and i am a virgin; anyways, i have a ton of itching on the outside of my vagina on the skin and its basically when i touch it it itches i dont see any rashes though what could it be and treatment?

: Vaginal itching may be caused by fungal (yeast) infections. Most are easily treated effectively , so see a GYN physican for an exam and culture.

i have used fluconazole 150mg 1 weekly for 8 weeks for my athlete's foot but it still itches a bit and it's cracked and dry around the sole. anything better i can get? or do i just prolong my oral treatment?

: You can see a podiatrist, or foot doctor, for evaluation to determine if the treatment should be changed or continued for a longer period of time. The podiatrist can examine your foot and assess your symptoms to determine the best mode of treatment at this point. Good luck!
