Fibromyalgia : There is no known connection between gastric bypass and fibromyalgia.  There are many patients that have fibromyalgia that have gone on to having a gastric bypass and they generally do well. The operation, however, does not cause fibromyalgia.

NOT AN INDICATION: I do not know of gastric bypass for fibromyalgia. The weight reduction may help to a certain degree but reducing anxiety and treating mood and exercising help fibromyalgia

: First- This is a myth. You cant gain weight unless you eat- many people have this perception till they concentrate on their intake.  So pl keep a strict tab on your intake, exercise and get a medical check up. Good luck

No: Before undergoing  by pass surgery , you must try non operative means, go on diet join gym  etc. Gastric by pass is the lost resort , once done rarely reversed , .

Gastric bypass : Well, the real answer is that you shouldn't. After any weight loss operation you should limit how much carbohydrate you eat and focus on eating protein and vegetables. You should not be eating a bagel. Can you? Probably, though everyone is different. You might have a lot of trouble or no trouble at all. If you start eating bagels and similar foods, you can regain all your weight. Be smart.

Depends: If you mean immediately, it will more than likely uncomfortable.  If you mean in the long run, then you may have issues with stamina, and there could be some minor discomfort.  You should discuss this with your bariatric surgeon.  Your nutrition will be in question for certain amounts of exercise.  Perhaps you need to consult additionally, a nutritionist, sports trainer or sports doctor.  Be caref.

No: The mini gastric bypass is not an approved surgery and there are so many that are better and safer. Only one surgeon does mini gastric bypass. The band, rny, sleeve, and plication are better.
