It can't.: The prescription treatment (either topical or oral), after a thorough bath or shower (using any soap you wish) will be effective. The next morning, launder all your towels, sheets, and bedclothes. One treatment is usually curative, but you may wish to repeat it in a few days to be certain.

Yes, but only kills: live mites. Animal scabies mite does not reproduce on the human host, so a few days should take care of it.  For human to human scabies, the sulfur soap will not kill the eggs, so the treatment will have to be repeated for several weeks.  I recommend pymethrin lotion applied overnight and repeated in a week.  It is safe for infants over a year old. Wait: Without seeing these it is impossible to diagnose on the internet.  In fact, your dermatologist was not sure and had to biopsy these.  Wait for results.

There : There is an over the counter treatment called elimite (permethrin). I believe it is inexpensive. Also remember to wash your sheets/bedding in very hot water, and all affected family member's need to be treated. If the treatments do not work go to the free clinic for an evaluation.

No: Avoid ingredients you may be allergic to.  Consider moisturizers, aveeno (oatmeal) bath oil and witch hazel to manage the itch until you see a doctor.

No: Benzoyl peroxide is much more effective. Acne is not a hygiene problem. If the benzoyl peroxide isn't sufficient, please get with your personal physician. All acne can be managed nowadays.

No: Tinea should be treated with selenium shampoo (high concentration selsun blue may work, but often it requires prescription strength) or topical antifungals like ketoconazole.  The white spots are areas of depigmentation; you just need to wait for the pigment to grow back, which can take months.

Scabies: One way of addressing scabies is scrubbing with Tetmosol soap and then applying benzoyl benzoate to the skin .

Not likely unless: It was an immediate swap (i.e. Two people being intimate in the shower). Even then, it is quite unlikely. Scabies is usually spread by close physical contact. It can also be spread by using the same bedding or clothing as someone who is infected with scabies.
