Accepted Answer

Maybe: I generally recommend to patients to take out contacts when they get home, wear their glasses for a few hours. Also, wear glasses one day per week, if you can.

i saw floaters in my eye. i went to 2 eye docs and said my eyes were fine. i still had very bad health anxiety. 2 weeks later i saw halos around light?

Floaters, halos: Floaters are more common in older folks, but young people can get them. I earned mine boxing at age 17. If 2 eye MDs looked at you, then you are probably fine. If you have not seen a specialist eye MD, then go see one. If the halos came and went, they are normally no problem. Had you just been swimming? How long did they take to go away? Seconds? Minutes? Hours?

my head hurts so bad i'm on my period &. i don't feel good right now no health problems or any head trama having neck pain to.. eyes hurt!

Migraine: This sounds a lot like a common migraine. If you don't have a fever or have another known illness, this should be evaluated by your doctor once you feel better.  If it doesn't get better in 1-2 days, definitely seek medical attention, or in the case it gets more severe.

Get checked out: Although reversible loss of night vision may be associated with vitamin a deficiency, this is not likely in developed countries with normal diet.  How long have you had poor night vision?  Do you have congenital hearing loss?  Loss of night vision may more likely be secondary to a variety of retinal dystrophies, including, most notably, retinitis pigmentosa (rp).  When associated with congenital hearing loss, rp is part of usher’s syndrome.  Symptoms are progressive nyctalopia (night vision loss) and constriction of visual fields (ie: inability to see immediate surroundings like stair rails or peripheral traffic when gazing forward).  Other conditions may cause similar symptoms but are less common. Diagnosis is made by ophthalmologic examination including ophthalmoscopy, erg and visual field testing.  Cataracts may occur and further impair vision.  Unfortunately, there is presently no recommended therapy to arrest or cure these conditions but research is being conducted into the effects of neuroprotective agents as well as surgical remedies with stem cell and retinal pigment epithelial replacement.  Please have your eyes dilated and examined.

my eyes roll back and my body shake and jerks but i'm somewhat aware of what's around me. it last for a few seconds and im weak and confused. feel like puking, vertigo and bad headache sometimes. hasn't happened in weeks.should i still see a doctor?

: Since it is not feasible to accurately predict the future, and not clear whether these spells will recur, urge you contact your doctor and discuss how to evaluate and manage your spells.  Would advise avoiding driving and activities at heights until this is clarified.

can you have health anxiety so bad that you imagine symptoms like tingling in hands, eye movements (when eye dr said everything is fine). im convincing myself i have ms because i think about it so much i always find something wrong?

: Yes this is possible. Anxiety often manifests with physical symptoms that come and go. Please consider discussing treatment options for this with your primary care physician.

39f no health issues, had a tia with no known cause. blood work & bp good, low chole. dr said mri of head & cta of head/neck good. having new symptoms:bad unilateral neck/head pain, blurry vision in right eye, vertigo. concerned of dissection missed?

how could we detect any health disorder to see the eyes?

Not quite: Many diseases can be diagnosed or hinted at from an examination of the eyes.  But there are many others not reflected in the eyes.The principal issue is vascular changes in the back of the eye and alterations in the structure of the eye.
