Not really: Excess bleeding in volume or timing is more often associated with a uterine problem like fibroids or polyps. Sometimes an ovarian cyst can throw off a cycle or delay ovulation.  But it doesn&#x27;t usually cause your periods to just be heavier in general.

Cyst Vs. appendix: Since it's at your right side do not assume its an ovarian cyst again. It may be another ovarian cyst, or appendicitis or something else. Do not wait , see your doctor, get ct scan and urine test.

Normal: People not a hormonal contraceptive will usually get a cyst once a month when they ovulate.  Normally the resolve on their own.  But ocassionally they persist and get larger and take longer to go away.

Ovarian cyst: Ovarian cysts can change in size during a woman's cycle. How do you know it changes size  "every few days"? Its unlikely you could tell that short of an ultrasound. Or, are you having pain intermittently and interpreting that as a size change?

So sorry: I am sorry for your pain problem.  However, there is really not much you can do until you do see a doctor.  There IS help for you, but it must be done by a physician.

How do you know? : This does not sound like ovarian cysts. It sounds like endometriosis. You should schedule a visit with an obgyn for evaluation.

Why ignore?: Why ignore the pain? Pain occuring monthly sounds more like endometriosis than ovarian cysts. An ovarian cyst is easy to diagnose by sonogram. Endometriosis can be harder to diagnosis. In severe pain cases a diagnostic procedure called a laparoscopy is often warranted.
