check with your doc: This is probably from increased pressure during diaphragm motion. The uterus feeling is unusual. Should be checked by gyn doc.

i am not pregnant, but when i sneeze the muscles of my uterus contract and stay contracted for up to 10 minutes. what is causing this?

Nerves: It is really cool in some ways, but i can understand the concern. The nerves in the pelvis that make the muscles contract to sneeze can be closely related to the nerves to the uterus. For some people, this means that sneezing or hard coughing makes the uterus contract.  If you get a cold, Ibuprofen can help decrease the pretty painful contractions.

im 7 weeks pregnant today i sneeze so har my uterus or ovaries hurted alot bt went away like in 5 seconds should i be worry or is it normal?

Do not worry: If you are note having any other symptoms, no bleeding, or continued pain--then you should be fine.

Probably muscular: Transient sharp, localized, non progressive pain associated with sneezing is most likely of muscle or ligament origin. If it is increasing then you should see a physiciam

i just got my period four days ago and every time i sneeze or cough my uterus twitches (there is 0 pain). my period has not been as heavy as it usual. what could this be from? could i be pregnant and it's actually just implantation bleeding?

Likely a period, but: Wait. A positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that prior spotting was actually implantation spotting. It is hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have been) or 1 week after starting a "weird" period.

How do you know?: That is a rhetorical question because I'm not aware that anybody really knows exactly what UTERINE TWITCHING feels like. Not saying you don't have it...after all...it's a great big old muscle....but due to it being a deep pelvic organ it's really quite difficult to feel when it's "twitching", "twisted", "tingly" or otherwise, feeling anything unless you're pregnant and fairly far along term.

Maybe not: The uterus does not have very much nerve sensation, so it is not clear exactly what you are feeling and very well may not be the uterus.  It is something you may need to check out further, especially if it is severe and/or worsening.

i have been having a lot of twitching from my uterus. it has been going on now for a week. i know it is not because i am pregnant as i have not had sex. i am never late with my periods. but this period i am late by 4 days. should i be concerned?

: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

i am experiencing twitching in my uterus  over and over again, almost like a baby kicking. this has been going on for about a week. i am 4 days late on starting my period. i am not pregnant. is this serious? what might be causing this?

: It may be from contact of uterus with the bowel through which gas is moving around. Do a home pregnancy test.  If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.

It is almost : Impossible to tell what's twitching unless your uterus is enlarged.Since you have a large uterus.you may a pregnancy test at home .you need a gynecological work up , however.
