my boyfriend took accutane and we are sexually active together. could he be causing my constant urinary tract infections?

Yes he could: Accutane has nothing to do with it however.  The physical act of having intercourse is a common cause of UTI's in women. This is because of the anatomy of women.  Bacteria can get in the opening to the bladder easily.  It is important to practice good sexual hygiene, namely emptying the bladder soon after intercourse, wiping always front to back, no douching. If it persists see your doctor.

Spotting: 30 year old lady with concern about spotting. Unknown what part of your menstrual cycle this is occurring in, only in the context of safe sex 5 days ago. Your past medical history of syncope, vertigo, weakness could point to a cardiovascular or thyroid abnormality and I think you need a full exam regardless and your OB/GYN can discuss spotting in context of menstrual cycle. Early and Often: You should get tested (and your partner) before having sex with any new partner.  Its also a good idea to get testing every 6-12 months with a doctors visit and exam as well.  You may need more frequent care if you (or a partner) are more risky - ie unprotected sex, multiple partners, anal sex, IV drug use, etc...

It depends: How long your periods are.  If you always have safe sex then u are likely not pregnant.  Figure out how far apart your periods are and add that amount of time to the described dates.  If concerned then try a pregnancy test.  Good luck.

Possibly, but: Gardasil 9 covers 5 HPV types not present in the Quadrivalent vaccine. These serotypes may account for 20% of cervical cancer. YOUR individual risk of getting cervical cancer from these 5 types is VERY low. The incidence of CIN 1-3 is about 5 out of 1000 pap tests. 20% x .005 = A 1 in 1000 chance of your getting cervical cancer  from these 5 serotypes. Gardasil 9 is approved up to age 26.

Condom Efficacy: Consistent &amp; correct use of condoms has a 98 % rate of efficacy in preventing pregnancy.  However, condoms are not always used consistently or properly which can lead to a first-year efficacy rate for pregnancy protection of 85 to 86 %.

is it safe to start the pill (rigevidon) the day before ovulation? is it also safe to have started the pill in late jan, stop after 5 weeks, and resume now for a month, stop in june and resume for july? not sexually active outside when stopping?

: Intermittent use of oral bcp's is not an effective use for contraception, since ovulation can still occur. If the oral bcp's are started within a few days of the start of menstruation, and taken punctually , within the hour of the prior day's active pill, oral bcp provides over 95% effective contraception.
