Wierd on Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is a stimulant, so it increases arousal state. As a result, some people can develop anxiety. If xanax/alprazolam resolves this sensation in you, this may be the case. Even if this is the case, please call your doctor/prescriber to discuss your medication reaction.

can i take nyquil with 2 mgs of xanax (alprazolam) for sleep about 7 hours after taking my last 30 mg dose of adderall ir? i am only prescribed xanax (alprazolam) not adderall.

Not recommended: Nyquil is risky w/ both the other drugs. Risks high BP w/ Adderall and can cause confusion, dizziness, etc w/ Xanax (alprazolam). W/o a Rx, you ought not take Adderall anyway. These are serious drugs, be careful. Your body is a valuable possession, take care of it! Be well!

is it ok to take 0.25mg xanax to temper occasional anxiousness due to newly prescribed adderall xr 30mg?

Best not: An initial dose of 30mg Adderal would be expected to cause some anxiousness. Best talk to your provider about possibly a lower dose. Xanax does not interact with Adderal in a bad way, it's just best to address the root of the problem. If you find you need 30mg,  the side effects are likely to diminish with time.

nor fentanyl? i have been clean for 72 days.  i have lost weight (25 lbs.) and i also take xanax/adderall/subs.  how can nor fentanyl show up still?

Depends on: The test. If it is a urine drug screening test request for confirmation test with chromatography. Also ask your doctor what drugs cross react with that urine drug screening test with Fentanyl as this may differ from urine drug manufacturing company to another.

i take 60mg prozac each morning and 20-50 mg of adderall a day and 2mg of xanax (alprazolam) at night to sleep. xanax (alprazolam) isn't helping can i take on more 1mg tonight!

Stop the madness!: You are on major medicines from a competent physician and are asking doctors who don't know you for permission to take more meds???  Sleep is necessary for good health and disrupted sleep needs to be treated. Perhaps your meds are causing the insomnia, or stimulant drinks, or stress, or psychiatric disease itself. Call the prescriber to discuss this,,and quit trying to circumvent him/her.

Are you stating that: You become testing, anxiety ; confused with this combination of meds- if  yes, discuss with your doctor. Checked this with a drug interaction checker ; no significant interactions were noted with buspar, (buspirone) Adderall and xanax. However, that is not a 100% guarantee.

If it is picked up on a urine drug screen ; is not prescribed for you there may be a cascade of negative effects (are you on parole? In a drug treatment program? Applying for a job? Have a job you may lose?), if you use good judgment then you will not face this type of dilemma.
