The patient describes visual lowering, sometimes profoundly.  Many spontaneously recover, some need help as in multiple sclerosis, and sometimes permanent change occurs.  See your neuroophthalmolgist for diagnosis and treatment.

Methylprednisolone to enhance and speed recovery and reduce the severity of the injury, and reduce new symptoms.
