Hard to tell: Nutritional supplements are not fda regulated and independent randomised clinical studies are rearly available to give medical opinion. It has caffein which is a stimulant.

Energy drinks: Absolutely not. The taurine in these drinks puts such unnecessary strain on your heart that it is not even safe for you. Imagine slamming your baby&#x27;s heart with a sledge hammer. That is what an energy drink is like to a baby!

See below: I can't say for sure as I don't know if what's in the drink is excreted in breast milk, but I would hold off.  There's no need in chancing anything and but your baby at risk.

Most likely yes: If it is the amino energy mix i know about, it has multiple Amino Acids (which are safe and can help build muscle for workouts) and green tea and coffee extract which gives about 200mg of caffeine. The caffeine prior to workout can cause problems, especially if you have cardiac issues, arrythmia, or if you're dehydrated. If you are healthy, then the drink is most likely safe without issues.

Combination treatmen: Yes, i commonly use Lexapro and wellbutrin (bupropion) together just for this purpose. I suggest she go see her doctor and ask about this.

Don't stop like that: It strikes me that drinking is less of a concern related to your medicine than it is regarding your anxiety.  Alcohol can be tricky to predict if you are not feeling well emotionally, so I would consider that.  Since you were only taking your Lexapro (escitalopram) for one day, you probably did not have a bad reaction.  But for the future, stopping antidepressants suddenly can make you feel terrible.  Be careful

Caffeine caution: From what I found, there is 120 mg of caffeine in an 8 oz. Spark energy drink, which is similar to amount in 8 oz of coffee. Too much caffeine can increase heart rate, raise blood pressure, anxiety and cause insomnia. Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) has similar side effects. Monitor your caffeine content especially while taking Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). I hope this helps. Best wishes.

my wife is taking lexapro and it has killed her sex drive and energy.  she was on welbutrin and she had no problems with either. the welbutrin just didn't keep her as calm as the lexapro. is it possible to take both so she could get th benefits of both.?
