Gyn exam: The first place to start is a gyn examination. There are so many possible causes. A complete patient history and exam should be done to guide the work up. Painful intercourse is a complex issue.

: There's no way to know without direct examination. Given your apparently inebriated state, an unnoticed injury seems a good bet. Any abnormal or unexplained vaginal bleeding should be professionally evaluated, so see your doctor if any bleeding continues more than a day or two.

Not normal: Please see your gyn , u need a n exam to r/o cuts or tears in the vagina or cervix, cultures to r/o infection , blood work, to r/o preg and abnormal hormones, a pap if u havent had one lately, and a pelvic ultrasound.

7-10 days: A withdrawal bleed most often begins within 2 to 7 days after completing a progestin but can be as long as 14 days.  If you are menopausal, a withdrawal bleed would not be expected.  Abnormal bleeding at age 50 is usually evaluated by sampling the endometrium.

Pc bleed: hello ~ this is probably because he is a little larger than normal or that you have a more intact hymen than is usual. Since women have been using tampons the hymen has become extinct. Occasionally you will get initial post coital bleeds because one appears. If the bleeding stops u are ok. If not go see your doc for a quick check to see if you are ok. Tell bf to be gentle ! Use lube too!

Unusual: If you have been taking this birth control pill for 5 months without a problem, and now suddenly have bleeding for 3 weeks straight, then the possibilities include:
1.  Normal side effect of the pill related to extreme thinning and fragility of the uterine lining
2.  Pregnancy - check a test
3.  The presence of something like a uterine polyp

this is a great discussion to have with your doctor.

on cerazetteas i am 48 yrs and have been told i can no longer  have the combined pill.  i have been bleeding every few days. this can't be normal?

No: Eating ice is one of the symptoms of iron deficiency. You may wish to see your doctor to have your hemoglobin measures and iron levels tested.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.
