Once better make sure you maintain your daily probiotic and vit d at least 5000iu daily to maintain a blood level around 75.

Same thing at home: Sorry to hear you don't feel well.  There are a lot of over the counter remedies to help- tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever, Motrin for aches, cough suppressant, throat losenges.  Just make sure you are getting better over the next couple of days and not worse.  Limit your contacts as well and wash your hands a lot.

: There are many symptoms from the flu like  fever, fatigue, appetite loss, and achiness. It is not unusual to use Tylenol and Motrin or Alleve. Just need to be careful of the dosing. Also, if symptoms persist may want to contact your physician.

I would: Although you need to start them in the first 48hrs , these meds do reduce the replication of flu germs and for many make the illness more tolerable. For about 30% the meds will not help at all, due to drug resistence. If taken too late, there is less benefit if drug sensitive.

Too late: You have to wait till it gets out of your system and see your doctor if it does not get better in couple of days as there may be complication of flu like sinusitis or pneumonia
get the vaccine next time and every year.
