is it ok to take nyquil after a nebulizer treatment? or how long should i wait in between the two types of medication?

: Maybe/not. You don't mention why you do a nebulizer treatment, but Nyquil and similar products contain a sedating anti-histamine as its main active ingredient. Antihistamines in that class can thicken mucus secretions and most docs discourage their use in asthmatics. If this product does not seem to affect you in a negative way it may be okay to use. Timing would be of little importance.

12 hours: It should mostly be out in about 12 hours. However, traces could be found in the blood for up to a week.

: First, I would recommend quitting cocaine. Second, using cocaine along with NyQuil which contains phenylephrine can cause life threatening cardiac arrhythmia.

Bromazepam helps with Anxiety which can help you sleep.
Using Nyquil with Bromazepam may increase drowsiness, dizziness and some impairment in thinking and judgment.

Don't mix: I would use DayQuil during the day if you needed something that doesn't cause drowsiness and take the Tussionex at bedtime.  Don't take the NyQuil.

Moot point: situation may be a moot point as many surgeons might not want to operate on pt with recent or currently active flu...would tell the surgeon about your current condition.

False neg for what?: Most people are not usually concerned about false negative results. The exception being the people who are prescribed a medication and rather than taking it, are selling it on the street.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Nyquil: Not likely, unless you are taking sedatives such as anxiety medication, & even then you can justify results if bring note from your prescribing doctor.
