is it normal for a six year old to poop every two to three days?

Common, not normal: Stool retention is an unfortunate pattern that a number of kids develop.Aggravated by diet, unwillingness to come in from play when nature calls, unwillingness to go at school all add up.The pattern self perpetuates. Increasing fiber in the diet, avoiding constipating foods, increasing fluid intake can help as will daily scheduled emptying.A workup at your doc is a good starting point for recovery.

Nl=no,acne=no: You should train your body to poop every day you eat, as the retention will eventually cause you health problems. It has no effect on the status of your acne.

Can be: Bm patterns are different from person to person based on lifestyle, diet, meds, etc. As long as there are no other symptoms or pain, it is probably fine.

Normal variant: Most breastfed newborns poop after each feeding, the timing varies. This changes with growth and becomes less frequent. Biggest variant is in what mom is eating that can affect the baby's gut. Has your diet changed? If your baby is nursing well, pooping 2 x per day, sleeping well, has no fever, then I wouldn't be concerned.

Can be normal: A breast fed baby can have a small smear of poo with every feed or a giant blowout once every 7-10 days.Normal volume is about 1/2 cup/day at 9wks. Color variation through various shades of yellow to green are normal. See the dr if concerned.

Maybe/maybe not.: It's OK to poop every few days as long as it's soft and not painful or effortful.  If it is hard or painful/effortful, you need to get more fiber in your diet (by eating more veggies and fruits) and drink lots more water.  If that doesn't help, talk to your Dr. about whether you can use Miralax (polyethylene glycol) regularly to help.

i had a colonoscopy yesterday and was told i should poop in 2 days..it seems every time i eat or drink i have to poop now.  is this normal?

Yes: Yes, it can be normal because of the fluid you had to drink before the colonoscopy.  This fluid cleans the inside of your colon by causing loose bowel movements.  It sounds like you still have some in your colon.  It should work its way out in a couple of days.

exclusively breastfed baby 2months only poops every 7 days. poop is normal/appropriate consistency/color. but i have been using rectal stimulation to get her to poop. is this bad?

: Breast babies can do a little smear every feed or a cradle  filler every 7-10 days. Breast milk is a well designed food source compared to formula, where more debris is left over after processing. Leave the kid alone to poop when ready.

my son is 3 months old and is fed 8oz of  similac sensitive every 3-4 hrs(per ped instructions). he has had watery brown poop for 2 days. normal?

Mildly abnormal: Don't worry about the stool color unless it is pitch black, bloody, or very light colored.  Green, yellow, brown...Doesn't matter.  The watery consistency is not exactly normal, perhaps a stomach virus.  As long as no vomiting continue the similac.  If the loose stools last more than a few days or vomiting develops, see your pediatrician.
