16 year old male, i was wondering if my facial hair growth is normal and when i should expect actual hair that you can see from afar. my mustache/chin is still dark peach fuzz my side burns are slightly dark and are around 3 inches deep in my face?

: The amount of facial hair on any particular individual male varies widely. At age 16, some men are barely beginning puberty, and some have been experiencing it for years. Finacea: The common side effects include: burning, stinging, itching, redness, dryness, peeling, irritation, changes of skin color, and hypertrichosis which is less common. The only option you have is to stop this topical medication and use a different product.

New : New onset hair growth on the face can be a sign of a hormonal imbalance, medication reaction, a sign of porphyria cutanea tarda, and rarely, a sign of hidden malignancy. After a physical exam by a dermatologist to determine what kind of hair is forming, appropriate blood tests can be done.  Treatment for the excessive hair, and dry skin, would be based on the results of the examination, and blood tests.

Yes.: Some women , especially certain ethnic groups can have heavy hair growth in that area. The problem can be addressed with laser hair removal , performed at 4-6 week intervals. Expect 5-8 sessions in that area with possible touchup visits necessary at 6 month intervals.
