i had radio frequency turbinate reduction last week on my left nostril, i feel that my nostril is open now but its always either congested or i can't feel the air coming in because of dryness. is it normal to feel like this during recovery ? ens ?

It's normal: We periodically "sigh"(take a deep breath, subconsciously) to expand our lungs and prevent alveolar collapse.  It happens often when we're reading or engaging in a low physical stress exercise.

Uncertain: I really don't know. I wonder if the small vessels in your skin are vasodialating instead of vasoconstricting in response to the cold air. When small vessels dialate it get bring heat to the skin.

Without additional clinical information, there is no way to ventures guess.

Urine will turn: dark if stored for prolonged time; however, if you are urinating brown urine, you must be evaluated immediately.

Yes: Yes a muscular strain of the chest wall can cause difficulty with taking deep breaths. As muscles need to contract and relax during breathing,  strained chest wall muscles would cause pain on inspiration. However if you are finding that you are short of breath or gasping for air then there is always a concern of pneumothorax or collapsed lung. In this case you need to go to ER to get a Chest X Ray
