Thus do not blindly take. Instead check &amp; optimize blood concentrations (by blood sample) in upper normal, e.g. 70-80 ng/ml, range. If D3 good, calcium pills likely a waste of money.

Use good sense: The best way to avoid over straining your body is to not over strain your body.  Keep yourself well nourished with healthy foods.  Get good sleep and be consistent in sleep habits.  And when your body tells you that  you are too fatigued or you begin to feel pain, that's a huge red flag that you're over straining and you need to back off and rest a bit.  Vitamins don't prevent over straining.

No medcine, yes/yes: Congratulations! it is best to avoid medicines as much as possible while pregnant, esp. In early pregnancy. Multivits are important- Folic Acid ; biotin are esp. Useful for preventing birth defects ; are best started before pregnancy so start today- choose a prenatal vit. To avoid excess vit. A. Fish oil is esp. Useful later in pregnancy to help brain ; eye development- choose one without mercury!
