: Leave the kid alone. The poop color originates in the ultra green bile added in transit. It goes through greens to yellows to browns depending on time inside and germ action. Green suggests it went through faster than otherwise. In an otherwise normal acting infant it is normal. You don't treat normal.

Lactase pills: Lactase is an enzyme that digests lactose, a component in milk. In theory, people who lack this enzyme have loose movements because they cannot digest lactose in milk? Lactase pills at together with milk helps with digestion and prevents the loose bm.

This is all because cellular energy metabolism is compromised.The real effect is from biochemical changes affecting the lower part of the brain that computes adaptation to environment. Commonest cause by far is lousy diet, particularly all the sweet stuff, caffeine, alcohol, pop etc etc.

Absolutely not!: Norfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone and should not be used in pregnancy unless benefit far outweighs the risk of fetal defects. The birth defects are most common in the first trimester - which you have completed.  I don't know why your doc recommended that? There are safer alternatives for pregnancy -such as amoxicillin. If it's loose BMs you have azithromycin might be best. It's pregnancy category B
