Risks vs benefits: Taken during pregnancy lisinopril and medications of the ACE inhibitor class are known to cause birth defects including malformations of kidney, lung, arms and legs.   Not to be taken during pregnancy.   During breastfeeding it can be taken; there will be some transfer into breastmilk, but the risks to new baby are much less than during pregnancy.  Discuss your available options with your doctor.
